Amid growing concern about the COVID-19 pandemic, it is necessary for us to let you all know how we plan to proceed.
As of right now, we are planning on continuing classes according to our standard schedule. We will follow the lead of Bismarck Public Schools and will be operating under the guidelines that the Center for Disease Control has put forward regarding schools. If you are concerned and feel you (or your student) should stay home, please do so and just let us know.
We ask that everyone please take particular care to observe good hygiene, especially hand washing. If you feel sick, please stay home (or if your student feels sick, please keep them at home). We will be implementing a policy at the studio of wiping down all commonly used surfaces – such as door handles, chair seats, the rest rooms and our targeting equipment – with a bleach solution daily until the end of North Dakota’s state of emergency.
It is important to stay informed and educated, and not escalate a pandemic situation through misinformation or panic. If you’d like to check on the current, accurate numbers regarding COVID-19 in the state of North Dakota, please refer to the North Dakota Coronavirus Reporting page on the NDDoH site; this page is currently being updated daily.
UPDATE – 3/16/20: Due to the governor’s edict closing all K-12 schools until Friday, March 20th, Alliance will be doing the same. We will be suspending all regular classes. We’ll wait until next weekend to make any further determinations.
In the event that we have to extend the duration of our closure, we will create some basic materials for all students to help them review and stay fit until we can resume our regular class schedule.
Thanks for your patience during the current uncertainty.
